Aruba’s diners, prick up your ears! Restaurant week is coming, so you will be treated to a super deal for a three-course dinner at the nine great restaurants of Aruba Wine and Dine (AWD) from August 29 to September 5. The AWD restaurants are all different, each of them unique in its own way. Tango Argentine Grill, Café the Plaza, Fishes & More, MooMba Beach, Que Pasa, Salt & Pepper, Dragonfly, Nos Clubhuis and Hadicurari are getting ready for a fantastic Restaurant Week. The price per three-course menu will leave you floored, just Afl. 35 ($20) per person: this is not possible in this day and age!
Salt & Pepper Restaurant in the Arawak Garden has a great menu during the Restaurant Week, starting with appetizer choices soup of the day or tenderloin gyros with a cilantro dip. After that you can choose between deep-fried spinach dip grouper roll or a mixed skewer (tenderloin, chorizo, chicken, shrimp) with spinach and bacon. Dessert is a Belgian white ganache with a blueberry coulis. Doesn’t it sound really yummy?
Part of the Restaurant Week’s profits will go to Maris Stella, the home of Aruba’s elderly. It is just one more reason to go out to dinner during this super special week. If possible, make your reservations in advance, as this will give you the best seats in the house.
The eighth edition of Restaurant Week is a showcase for all nine Aruba Wine and Dine Restaurants – the chefs create something truly delicious for you!
